I am a fully qualified Foot Health Professional, trained through the prestigious SMAE Institute. As a proud member of both the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP), I am committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate foot care.
With a genuine passion for promoting foot health, my goal is to help clients maintain healthy feet and enhance their overall wellbeing.
Based in West Oxfordshire, I offer a convenient mobile service, bringing professional foot care directly to the comfort of your home.
Your first appointment includes a full foot health check, covering circulation and nerve function (neurovascular assessment), as well as an examination of the skin and nails. We’ll look for any signs of issues like poor blood flow, nerve changes, infections, or nail problems, and provide advice or treatment as needed
A Foot Health Professional safely trims toenails, including thick or difficult nails, using professional tools and techniques. This helps prevent problems like ingrown nails and keeps feet comfortable and healthy.
Corns and calluses are thickened areas of skin that develop from repeated pressure or friction. Treatment includes carefully reducing the hard skin and identifying the cause. Padding may be used to reduce pressure and help prevent recurrence.
A Foot Health Professional helps people with diabetes by regularly checking the feet for changes in skin, nails, circulation, and nerve function. We provide routine foot care, offer advice on daily foot checks, and help prevent complications through early detection and treatment of problems.
Verrucae are viral warts that appear on the feet. Treatment may include reducing the hard skin over the lesion and applying topical treatments to stimulate the body’s immune response.
Ingrown toenails can be painful and can lead to infection. We provide conservative treatment for ingrown toenails, and can refer on to a podiatrist if needed.
Your first appointment includes a comprehensive assessment of your foot health, medical history, and any current concerns. This initial consultation is longer than a standard follow-up appointment, allowing plenty of time to understand your needs and provide tailored care.
During the appointment, I will assess the condition of your feet, skin, and nails, and carry out a routine treatment which may include nail trimming, reduction of thickened nails, and the treatment of corns and calluses. A neurovascular assessment will also be performed to check circulation and nerve function, which is especially important for those with diabetes or reduced sensation.
You will also receive personalised advice on ongoing foot care, appropriate footwear, and recommendations for any necessary follow-up treatments.
Follow-up appointments are designed to maintain your foot health and continue any ongoing care recommended during your initial consultation. These shorter sessions focus on routine treatment to keep your feet comfortable and in good condition.
Treatment may include nail trimming, reduction of thickened nails, and the removal of corns or calluses, as needed. Your foot health will be monitored at each visit, and I will update your treatment plan as necessary to ensure the best ongoing care.
Regular follow-up appointments help prevent problems from developing and support your overall wellbeing.
I provide foot health services throughout West Oxfordshire, including Witney, Eynsham, Carterton, Burford, Charlbury, Bampton, and the surrounding villages. If you're unsure whether your location is covered, please feel free to get in touch and I'll be happy to advise.
